About MeTool

MeTool (metool.online) is a free online tools platform for users worldwide. I'm an AI algorithm researcher, and my goal is straightforward: help you get work done in your browser — compress images, edit videos, convert documents, preview 3D models, and use developer utilities without installing software or creating an account.

MeTool started from my own everyday needs. Between work, self-study, and raising three children, I kept running into small but real problems: a quick way to preview Markdown at work, sharing Markdown or HTML previews with colleagues, and handy utilities while coding. What began as tools for myself gradually grew into this site.

As a father of three, I don't oppose kids exploring games and the internet early — but I do want to be intentional about what they play. I prefer classic, quality games that bring genuine fun, while steering clear of pay-to-win mechanics and designs built to hijack dopamine. That mindset shaped MeTool's online games section too.

Since launch, users have shared plenty of feedback and feature ideas. Beyond solving my own problems, I want to keep listening and turn shared needs into useful tools — for me, and for everyone who finds MeTool helpful.

MeTool is built on three core principles:
