Connect your AI to MeTool
Click Connect your AI on a tool page first, then follow the steps below. Hooking up the assistant alone is not enough — it does not know which page to work on.
Connect a tool page first
Your AI can only work on the page that is currently connected. Until you click Connect your AI, it does not know where to send data.
Already hooked up your AI? Just tell it what you need. If no tool page is connected, it will ask you to open one and click Connect your AI.

I approved, but the AI still says it is not authorized?
You likely skipped Open app. Return to the browser prompt, allow opening your AI app, then start a new chat.
Do I need to paste a secret key?
No. Sign in when asked and click Approve. Do not paste any key into settings yourself.
Do I still need Connect AI on the tool page?
Yes. Approving only proves it is you. You must turn on Connect your AI on a tool page so the assistant knows which page to work on. If you already hooked it up, just tell it — it will ask you to come back and connect.
Do I have to edit a settings file?
No. Open a tool page and click Connect your AI first. In the dialog, pick the AI you use and follow the pictures. If it is not listed, choose Other AI.
I already hooked up my AI, but it cannot use a tool?
No tool page is connected yet. Open a tool, click Connect your AI, and keep that tab open. You can also say that to the AI — it will list pages you can pick.
